do herbal extracts have the same effects on people when they were still raw material?

need an answer. anyone? please, HELP ME!

Yes, but you need to take much greater amounts. 900mg of St. John’s Wort is pretty easy to take in pill form then drinking it in enough tea to have similar results.

Some herbs are just as effective to eat, though. Eating a little pickled ginger will help you out with nausea just as much as taking an extract.

It really depends on the herb and the method of ingestion.
